The system draws power from the taillight circuit as well as the brake light circuit ensuring sufficient power is available for up to two braked axles. Elecbrakes will apply the ideal amount of braking power to your trailer’s brakes proportional to the vehicle braking, trailer weight and driving conditions. Unlike other controllers that require a control permanently mounted on the two vehicle’s dashboard, Elecbrakes can be controlled wirelessly using a Smartphone via Bluetooth. This also means you can use multiple tow vehicles, and provides the flexibility to move the system between vehicles and trailers as you upgrade. The app also shows how much amperage is being sent to your brakes, monitors your accelerometer, and checks the status of your tail light, brake light and auxiliary power connections. 5 user-defined programs can be pre-set for different driving conditions and towing weights.
